The Cloudy dress is a very special item. It is made with 100% certified organic lotus flower silk.

Made from lotus fibers, this fabric is a cruelty-free alternative to traditional silk. The lotus plant, revered for its symbolism of purity and resilience, provides a source of fibers without harming the plant itself. This makes our fabric not only environmentally friendly but also a compassionate choice for those who seek ethically produced textiles.

A bit of history: Lotus silk was first used to weave monastic robes as an offering to Buddha images or Buddhist monk.This exquisite fabric is a testament to the rich heritage of artisanal craftsmanship.

Blue Anemone is a slow fashion and sustainable brand. All our garments are ethically made. We produce locally within 100 kms from our studio. For our collections we only use natural fibers, a lot of them with eco certifications. We love collaborating with artisans. All our packaging is plastic free.

Washing Instructions:

Hand Wash: Gently hand wash your fabric in cold water using a mild, eco-friendly detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach as they can damage the delicate fibers.

Soak with Care: If you encounter stubborn stains, soak the fabric in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent for 15-20 minutes before gently hand washing.

Avoid Agitation: Refrain from excessive rubbing or wringing out the fabric, as this can weaken the fibers and affect its longevity.

Cold Water Rinse: After washing, rinse the fabric thoroughly in cold water to remove any remaining detergent.

Drying Instructions:

Lay Flat to Dry: Lay your fabric flat on a clean, dry towel to air dry. Avoid hanging it, as the weight of the wet fabric can cause stretching.

Shape Carefully: If you are crafting garments, reshape them while drying to maintain their intended silhouette.

Indirect Sunlight: Dry your fabric in the shade or indirect sunlight to preserve the indigo dye and prevent fading.

Protect from Light: Store your fabric in a cool, dark place to protect it from excessive exposure to light, which can fade the indigo dye over time.

International Orders: import duties & taxes

Our prices include delivery and transport costs, but if you are located outside of the EU, your purchase from our store may also be subject to additional import duties and / or taxes which will be charged to you by the Customs Office of the country you reside in.

UK Orders: import duties & taxes

Blue Anemone is based in Spain (EU).

Since 1st January 2021, all items from the EU are subject to import fees and taxes when arriving to the UK. Check with your local custom tax department for more information. From our experience import fees ad taxes are more or less 30%-50% of the total order amount.

Returns & exchanges

All items must be on their original condition, unworn, unwashed and unaltered. Also all the labels must remain attached. Any returns received which do not meet our return policy requirements may be refused.

Custom or personalized orders

-Conditions of return:

Customers are responsible for the entire return process and also the generated return costs. We are not able to provide any prepaid label. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

A customs declaration is required for all returns from countries outside of the European Union. Please mark your customs form as Product Returned To Vendor For Refund – failure to do so will result in charges for import duties & taxes which we will not accept and which will be recharged back to you.
